IVE - Shared Responsibility
Shares responsibility for the performance of all students within the school.
OVERVIEW:
I take my professional responsibilities very seriously, inside and outside the classroom, and have made an effort to do my part, be a team player in my department and in the school, and share the load of caring for all students and fostering their growth.
One example of my sharing in these responsibilities involves collaborating with my colleagues to make the school stronger. This evaluation cycle, I served as chair for the Standards Committee and led a group of teachers and counselors in the process of reviewing, evaluating, and suggesting changes to the school's graduation requirements and course of study.
Another way I share in the responsibility for all students outside the classroom is by being available and willing to write recommendations for students (for programs, jobs, and colleges), and by making myself available after school hours and on weekends (via email) to answer student questions and address concerns to both students and parents.
