IVF - Professional Responsibilities

Is ethical and reliable, and meets routine responsibilities consistently.

OVERVIEW:
I have always taken even the most routine professional duties seriously.  As someone who spent years in the theatre, organizing large groups of people in a collaborative and goal-orientated effort, I know how easily the house of cards can collapse unless each person contributes what is asked of them.  From taking attendance, to tracking down missing students, to filling out forms, to covering classes, I try to be as thorough and professional as possible.

EVIDENCE:
Professional duties include taking part in Parent-Teacher Conferences, as well as creating an appointment schedule with parents and sharing that schedule with guidance and one's Content Coordinator.  The schedule to the RIGHT was made for one of this cycle's conferences, posted outside my office, and shared with the appropriate parties.

EVIDENCE:
This cycle, I was concerned for the psychological welfare and mental health of one student who communicated to me that she was unable to read THE KITE RUNNER due to its content (a scene of sexual assault).  Concerned that this might stem from her own personal experience, I pursued the issue with a school adjustment counselor, who followed up with both student and parents, assuring the student's safety.  To the right is the email I sent, redacted to protect confidentiality.
